Suspended Classes July 30, 2012 due to Tropical Typhoon Gener

Classes are suspended in most schools in NCR or National Capital Region today, due to heavy rainfalls cause by tropical typhoon ‘Gener‘. LGU‘s or Local Government Units have decided and confirmed suspension of classes late last night.

Suspended classes in parts of NCR – July 20

Due to heavy rain since last night, many parts around NCR including Rizal and Cavite have suspended their classes today. LGU‘s or Local Government Units in some area in NCR decided to cancel the classes of most school in their places to avoid students from getting soak in floods.

There are few schools here in Metro Manila that are currently cancelled due to heavy rain that causes wide floods in their areas. In a live report of Mike Enriquez in dzBB schools from different cities here in Metro Manila announced their suspension of classes today July 3, 2012.

Phivolcs raises Tsunami Alert Level 2 in Visayas

According to a news related site, Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) had raised a tsunami alert over Visayas after an earthquake with a magnitude 6.9 hit the area before noon today.

Executive Order 66 is now officially signed by President Noynoy Aquino

Executive Order 66 (EO 66) is an order wherein some new rules referring for the suspension of classes and work during natural disasters is now executable, for President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III (PNoy) has now formally signed it.
