Suspension of Classes in some areas in Metro Manila – July 3



There are few schools here in Metro Manila that are currently cancelled due to heavy rain that causes wide floods in their areas. In a live report of Mike Enriquez in dzBB schools from different cities here in Metro Manila announced their suspension of classes today July 3, 2012.

Below are some of the schools mentioned by Igan.

Parañaque City – Schools either private or public in elementary and highschool are suspended, announced by Mayor Florencio Bernabe Jr. himself at 9 a.m.
Cainta, Rizal – Preschool to high school in public and private schools afternoon class are cancelled, Mayor Dominic Ilagan made the announcement.
Manila City – Public Schools afternoon class are now cancelled.
Pasay City – Classes are suspended in public and private schools of elementary and highschool.
Navotas City – Public and private schools of elementary to highschool are suspended.
Makati City – Barangays San Antonio, Pio del Pilar, Singkamas, Sta. Cruz and La Paz are advised to suspend class in all levels.
Mandaluyong and Marikina City – Afternoon classes are now suspended.
Valenzuela City – mentioned that there are some schools bid their suspension for this day.
Bacoor Cavite – Preschool to high school’s afternoon classes are now suspended.
Polytechnic University of the Phillipnes (PUP) – Suspended classes in Sta. Mesa, San Juan, Commonwealth and Taguig.
University of Sto. Tomas (UST) – All levels’ afternoon classes are suspended.

For the rest of the school who’re not given the suspension, please bring your coats and umbrella with you. Also, avoid being soak to floods ’cause ‘Leptospirosis’ might get on to you specially if you have an open wound.
