After former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo was detained at the Veterans Memorial Medical Center (VMMC), the Pasay City Regional Trial Court Judge, Jesus Mupas finally allowed the former President to bail for her case electoral sabotage in cash worth Php 1 Million, now she is temporary free but not allowed to go to abroad due an issued hold departure order.
In this case, the current Pampanga 2nd district representative went to Tagaytay for a check-up since she’s not allowed to go abroad. It was CGMA‘s daughter, Lourdes “Luli” Arroyo-Bernas who told interviewers earlier that her mother will go on a treatment under an “alternative treatment facility”.
Though CGMA will seek medical attention in an alternative treatment facility, she will still continue her treatment under VMMC.
Luli Arroyo-Bernas said in an interview, “Iuuwi po muna namin siya tapos dadalhin namin siya sa isang alternative treatment facility tapos sa susunod na mga araw babalik pa din siya sa Veterans [Memorial Medical Center] para sa therapy.”
