According to a survey conducted by Cartoon Network, ‘Sarah Geronimo‘ tops the chosen favorite idol of most Filipino kids’ this days. With a 17% score rate, children ages 7 to 14 chooses the singer turned actress and host as their favorite idol.

While the International singing Sensation ‘Charice Pempengco‘ and Canadian Teen Idol ‘Justin Bieber‘ caught the second place with a score rate of 8% each.

This survey was conducted from February 25 to March 26 of this year. Weighing 1,000 selected Filipino kids from Metro Manila, Cebu and Davao.

This mentioned study of Cartoon Network called “New Generations 2012” is aiming to look onto the preference and lifestyle of all the Filipino kids.

Aside from Sarah G. and Charice, Taylor Swift and Bruno Mars was also included in the list. Bagging the top 4 for Swift and 5 for Mars.
