Twitter really is one of the most joined micro-blogging site now a days. Lots of celebrities are making it one of their ways to interact with their fans. Yesterday, the Megastar her self joined Twitter to reach most of her fans online.

Sharon Cuneta-Pangilinan has officially joined Twitter on her birthday celebration last January 06, 2012 with a Twitter username of @sharon_cuneta12.

As her first tweet, sharon said, “I’ve finally given in! Am finally tweeting – for the first time ever – after receiving so many sweet bday msgs. I am overwhelmed”.

As of this posting the Megastar has now a total of 14,374 followers and still counting.

On the other hand, Sharon’s husband Mr. Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan made a very sweet tweet as his welcome message for his wife on joining Twitter.

Senator Pangilinan on his tweet, “@sharon_cuneta12 welcome to twitter to my sweetheart of 17 years and my wife of 15 years and going and going and going”.

Being an active user of Twitter, Senator Kiko made a total of 202,622 followers since he’d started using the said microblogging site.

While the Megastar’s daughter, KC Concepcion has a 1,016,315 Twitter followers.

However, before the Megastar officially made her announcement of joining Twitter, lots of hoax accounts have been made on Twitter using her name. She has previously warned all of her fans against those fake accounts.
