After being imprisoned for about 18 months due to the possession of illegal drugs, former Ilocos Sur Representative, Ronald V. Singson will soon be released from prison in Hong Kong this coming year 2012.

The exact date of Singson‘s release will be this coming January 14, 2012, according to a local news TV channel I have watched this morning.

Ronald was sentenced by the Hongkong District Court after being caught with illegal drugs in HongKong Airport last July 11, 2010. Here’s a link to know more about Ronald Singson’s case.

The HongKong District Court gave a maximum 18-months sentence to the former Ilocos Sur Rep. after accepting his plea that the said drugs was his personal use and not brought there to be sold.
