Tropical Depression Ramon moves away



“Tropical Depression “RAMON” continues to move farther away from the country,” according to weather forecaster at the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported this Friday, October 14, 2011.

PAGASA weather bulletin as of 5:00 a.m posted:

“At 4:00 am today, Tropical Depression “RAMON” was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 300 km West Northwest of Iba, Zambales (16.2°N 117.0°E) with maximum winds of 55 kph near the center. It is forecast to move Northwest at 19 kph.”

Meanwhile, the PAGASA’s 8 a.m. update indicated that Tropical Depression Ramon may track across the northern South China Sea and move towards Vietnam.
