According to a news related site, Sesame Street Youtube Channel had been broke up by hackers inserting pornographic movies on their videos. The children’s program was hacked this weekend and was track just this Monday morning (Local time).
Visitors of the show noticed the sudden suspension of the channel at around 9:30 a.m. due to an error message saying, “This channel is not available.”
Searchers on YouTube for Sesame Street would bring up the link to their channel, but what they will notice is the accompanying thumbnail in its icon named “MrEdxwx,” though the latter denied it as the perpetrator.
According to Sophos, a computer security firm said in a blog entry that the hacked channel may exposed users to the inserted porn content for about 20 minutes.
The suspension was said due to “repeated or severe violations of our Community Guidelines.”
Aside from inserting porn mivies in the said channel, it was said that hackers also changed the Sesame Street Youtube Channel profile as indicated below taken from Sophos blog post.
“WHO DOESN’T LOVE PORN KIDS? RIGHT! EVERYONE LOVES IT! IM MREDXWX AND MY PARTNER MRSUICIDER91 ARE HERE TO BRING YOU MANY NICE CONTENT! PLEASE DON’T LET SESAME STREET TO GET THIS ACCOUNT BACK KIDS PLEASE…LET ME AND MRSUICIDER91 HAVE IT AND WE GONNA MAKE ALL THE AMERICA HAPPY!”
Because of this “MrEdxwx”, who was named in the message above uploaded a video on YouTube denying he was the one behind it.
MrEdxwx said, “I did not hack Sesame Street. I am an (honest) YouTuber. I work hard to make quality gameplay videos AND MOST IMPORTANTLY I RESPECT THE COMMUNITY GUIDELINES”.
