Jake Cuenca‘s ex-girlfriend, Melissa Ricks, in an open interview said that she is not yet ready to work with Jake. After that publicly announced breakup moment of Jake and Melissa few months ago, the latter said she already moved on.

Melissa in an interview made by Push.com.ph (in ABS-CBN Trade Launch last Thursday) said that she doesn’t know how to hold grudges against anyone, that she’s not the type to felt that way.

Melissa said abruptly, “Hindi ako ‘yung taong parang I would talk bad about someone. Hindi ako ‘yung ganoong tao pero ang sa akin lang ‘yung respetong ibinibigay ko sa ‘yo ibigay mo rin sa akin.”

Still the young actress said that she’s very much open to be friends with Jake, though Melissa said firmly that it is not up to her anymore.

“It’s up to him naman, it’s not up to me. I’m fine with everybody. I have nothing against whoever he dates. If he wants to be happy it does not have to be with me. Malay mo hindi naman kami meant to be. Basta he’s happy and may respeto siya sa akin dahil may pinagsamahan naman kami ng dalawang taon,” Ricks said.

And as I said above, Melissa though doesn’t have a hard feelings with Jake anymore, she’s still not yet ready to work with her ex-boyfriend.

Ricks stressed, “Right now, I don’t think that would be such a good idea, pero in the future, why not? We can never say pero right now, parang hindi siya magandang idea.”

The good thing is Mel on her part said, that past relationship she has with Jake was a lesson that made her strong. She also said that with it she have learn so much that made her a lot more better now than she is before.

“Alam mo ‘yung kaya kong pagdaanan ‘yan with my friends with me na hindi talaga ako iniiwan. Sobrang it helped me to be okay and it took me a long time rin to be okay pero I think I can say I’m better now,” she said.
