Last Saturday June 11, 2011, Lauren Alaina, the second placer of the 2011 American Idol Season 10, sang with Martina McBride, an American country music singer and songwriter, at the latest Country Music Association or CMA Music Festival.

While the American Idol Season 10 champion, Scotty McCreery sang with Josh Turner, an American country music singer and actor. According to several US entertainment sites yesterday.

Lauren Alaina, 16, sang “Anyway” with McBride while cheered by fans. The latter was impressed by Alaina’s rendition of her songs during the American Idol competitions.

Martina McBride said in a statement, “I was not able to watch it that night, because I was working, but I immediately looked it up at YouTube and I was blown away. She did such a great job.”
