Game 4 Result of the NBA Finals 2011: Dallas vs Miami, Mavericks Wins Over Heat



Yesterday night, June 7, 2011 Dallas Mavericks tied up the 2011 NBA Finals best-of-seven series with a Game 4 victory against the Miami Heat. Having a score of 86-83 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, as reported by NBA.com.

Dirk Nowitzki, Dallas forward, managed to lead the Mavericks in offense despite playing with a flu. He scored 10 of his 21 points in the fourth quarter, despite a miserable 6 of 19 field goal.

It was another umexpected win by the Mavericks Vs. Heat to tie the series at two games each.

Dallas outscored Miami by 21-9, from the 10:12 mark of the final quarter to avoid going down, 3-1 , a deficit where no team has ever comeback in a finals series.

Dwyane Wade scored 32 points, Chris Bosh added 24 points for Miami. However, the missing link in the Heat’s offense is LeBron James who only scored eight points on 3 of 11 shooting. His nine rebounds and seven assists were overshadowed by his poor offense that contributed to the Miami loss.

Earlier in the fourth quarter Miami was leading by 74-65, but Jason Terry started the Dallas run to snatch Game 4 from the Heat. The latter scored six straight points and ended their run with two free throws with 6.7 seconds left, Putting Mike Miller for a three point shoot but missed.

The 2011 NBA Finals Game 5, best-of-seven series will be played this coming Thursday, June 9, at the American Airlines Center, in Dallas, Texas.
