Yesterday, June 29, 2011 veteran actress Jaclyn Jose confirmed that her beloved daughter Andi Eigenmann is pregnant. The “Agua Bendita” lead actress is now 18 weeks and 3 days pregnant as of this written article.

Jacklyn Jose in her statement at ABS-CBN said, “I just want to tell everyone that, yes, it’s true, my daughter is pregnant,” then added, “Hindi madali pero kailangan kong tanggapin kasi anak ko siya at mahal ko siya. Wala namang ibang tutulong sa kanya kundi ako at ang kanyang pamilya.”

Jacklyn also told the press who was the father of the soon to be baby of her daughter but didn’t named the guy. She said that the father of Eigenmann’s child is a former boyfriend who allegedly abandoned her daughter after finding out that the latter was pregnant.

“Wala na sila noon. Iniwanan sila noong nabuntis siya. I’m okay with that. I don’t want to talk about him anymore. I don’t have business with him. I feel angry every time I think of him but that’s over na,” Jose said.

Nevertheless, the emotional mother of Andi is still proud of her daughter for accepting and keeping the baby with her. She also said that their family fully supports Andi’s decision.

The mother after confirming the news, asked and plead to everyone not to judge her daughter, instead she is asking for everyone’s understanding on Andi’s condition.

“Alam ko may pagkakamaling nagawa ‘yong anak ko. Hindi ko sinasabing tama, ang puwede ko na lang sabihin huwag na lang husgahan. Bigyan na lang siya ng pagkakataon tutal buhay naman yan… humihingi ako ng pang-unawa sa audience, sa fans ni Andi,” she said.
