A young actor AJ Perez is now dead, a very sad news this coming Holy Week to the family of the teen actor AJ Perez whose real name is Antonilo Joseph S. Perez, who was killed in a car accident in Tarlac province shortly after midnight Sunday.

According to Philippine National Police (PNP) spokesman, Chief Superintendent Agrimero Cruz, Jr. said the accident happened at 12:10 a.m. on MacArthur Highway, Barangay San Julian, in Moncada town.

According to police report, Agrimero Cruz said AJ Perez’s van overtook a ten-wheeler truck with plate number AEM-153, driven by Floren Agradi, 48, of Nangalisan, Laoag City, and in the process collided with a northbound Partas passenger bus bearing body number 82358 with license plate UVA-880 and driven by Julie Brillantes, 44, of Patucanay, Benguet.

Due to the impact of the collision, Perez’s van was pushed sideward and eventually hit the ten-wheel truck that it had earlier overtaken.

AJ together with his companions were rush to the Rios Valentine Hospital in Paniqui, Tarlac, but the doctor said AJ was already dead before reaching the hospital.

AJ appeared in the Kapamilya TV drama series “Sabel” and other shows of the TV network.
